Phattie in White Pearl, with a touch of Black

This smooth Phattie setup features a 12″x8″ rack tom, 15″x13″ and 16″x14″ floor toms, a thumping 22″x20″ bass, and matching 14″x5.5″ snare. The finish is White Pearl with two thin Black Pearl stripes inlaid nice and flush, and right under the resonant-side lugs.  Custom touches include the Dunnett R4 strainer, old school Ludwig mufflers in the toms and snare, black lacquer bass hoops with old school inlays, and the Phattie Racing-Stripe bass logo in black sparkle.  Great looking blend of classic finish and modern touches, check it out:

Black on Red Phattie Snare, 12″x7″ of deep attack!

Featuring a 10-ply Maple VSS shell, this snare had a great combination of body and attack.  The 12″x7″ and 12″x8″ snares have been pretty popular lately, with their blend of small diameter and depth.  Tuned up nice and high they provide quick articulation for fast playing, and a deeper sound than a traditional piccolo snare.  This particular one features a red sparkle wrap with gloss black inlays, black-chrome hardware, and full-length tube lugs.  Red and black, always a classy combo:

Satin Chrome on a custom Phattie snare

Satin Chrome is a finish that looks classy in any setting, and especially against this silver & blue glass glitter snare.  Features include a 14″x6″ 10-Ply maple shell, inlayed silver & blue glass glitter wrap, Dunnett R-Class strainer and die cast hoops.  Even the snare wires for this particular build were satin plated, check it out:
