This 14″x7″ Dragon Snare features unique coloring that allowed the main shell to be stained a deep red, while the flames remained a natural maple that accents the detail in the carving. Black Chrome hardware and a Dunnett R-Class strainer provide function that goes great with the form, dig it:

This cool 14″x7″ Dragon Snare from the Sounds Like Art series was finished in a deep red stain with our Scorched Maple finish over the top. To compliment this color combo we added Scorched Carbon hardware for a deep textured black. The all maple shell measures almost 1″ thick, for a snare that projects and cuts just as good as it looks.
Here’s something cool we cooked up this week while finishing up a run of Dragon Snares. This is a 14″x7″ Sounds Like Art snare with a custom mixed red mahogany base, natural maple flames, and a Scorched top coat. After the scorched top coat is applied, it is carefully rubbed by hand to get just the right effect. Check it out:
Here is another Sounds Like Art Series II snare, this one sporting a custom aged mahogany stain complimented by Silver Vein powder coating. The shell is our standard 14″x7″ solid maple shell and the Dunnett R-Class strainer, 2.3mm hoops, and solid brass tube lugs come standard.
