This 13″x6.5″ Dragon Snare prototype features 4mm thick cold-rolled steel hoops that go perfectly with the thick stave-construction shell. These hoops have a thick and solid rim-shot similar to die casts hoops, but without the dryness that often accompanies die cast hoops. The detail of the 360 degree carved shell is accented by the detail of the machined hoop clips, for an overall package that screams “I’m ready to rock your ears off”. The finish is Scorched Maple with chrome hardware and a black Trick GS007 strainer. Very happy with the way this one turned out, check it:
