Cocktail kit, or bop kit, or both?

This unique setup takes the nesting option and pushes it one step further than we’ve gone before. A dual latch system on the cocktail drum allows it to be used as a 16″x24″ upright cocktail drum or as a 16″x14″ bop bass drum. The addition of a 13″ floor tom compliments the standard 10″x8″ rack tom perfectly, for a great bop or cocktail combo. A wide variety of ratcheting clamps, l-rods, and cymbal arms make the setup possibilities as wild as your imagination. The 14″x7″ Phattie 10-Ply maple snare is a true workhorse and one of our most popular sizes. It tunes up easy and has a great range, a perfect blend of sensitivity, attack, and tone. This one classes things up with a deep Modern Mahogany satin lacquer complimented by natural maple inlays under the tube lugs. A laser engraved badge in natural maple, Trick GS007 throw off, and Puresound snare wires complete the package for an aesthetically pleasing workhorse of a snare. Check it out:

Phattie in True Black Glass with Turquoise Inlays

The center piece of todays kit is a massive 24″x24″ bass drum that sounds every bit as huge as it looks! Second to the sound, the best part about having so much real estate is how good the finish turned out and the contrast between the colors. Wrapped in True Black Glass Glitter with Turquoise Glass Glitter inlays and set against black-chrome hardware; the sizes are 12″x8″, 16″x14″, 24″x24″, and a matching 13″x6″ snare. Custom touches that really add to the overall look included the Phattie Racing Stripe bass logo in black glitter, the contrasting wrap on the inside of the bass hoop, and offset lugs. Check it out:

This rockin’ set of Phatties featured a unique finish that is subtle but still head turning. The brown satin lacquer has two stripes of True Gold glass glitter inlaid directly under the tube lugs, the contrast looks great against the black chrome hardware all around. The shells and specs are standard Phattie Classic series, featuring a 13″x9″ rack tom with optimount, 16″x16″ floor tom, and 24″x18″ bass. A Fiberskyn head on the bass really pulls the look together on this one, check it out:

Pre-Aged Marine Pearl on a killer 13″x7″ Phattie Snare

This Phattie snare features a Pre-Aged Marine Pearl finish, a beautiful finish that looks just a little creamier than White Marine Pearl, for a classy appearance. The 10-Ply maple shell combined with the deep 13″x7″ size sounds incredible when tuned up into the higher ranges. Very tight & articulate sound, but with plenty of body and oomph. Along with the kit posted yesterday, here is another beautiful drum in the Burnt Sienna Satin Lacquer Burst with matching yamaha-style wood hoops. 13″x6″ 10-Ply shell, Dunnett R-Class strainer, and solid brass tube lugs combine for a sweet little snare. This drop dead gorgeous kit features our popular Burnt Sienna burst with satin lacquer top coats. The finish extends onto the Yamaha-style wood hoops for a smooth look, and really sets this kit apart from the off-the-shell alternatives.
