Dragon Snare finishing process, a time lapse view

Here’s something cool we cooked up this week while finishing up a run of Dragon Snares. This is a 14″x7″ Sounds Like Art snare with a custom mixed red mahogany base, natural maple flames, and a Scorched top coat. After the scorched top coat is applied, it is carefully rubbed by hand to get just the right effect. Check it out:

Updates at CocktailDrumsets.com, new mounting/boom system…

This week has featured some exciting updates to our line of cocktail drums, found at CocktailDrumsets.com. The hi-hat and cymbal boom arms are now mounted using infinitely adjustable ratchet clamps, and a mini gig rug with Velcro-equipped pedal now come standard. One of the benefits to our new mounting system is the ability to position and use full-size cymbals, the setup below is pictured with 14 inch hats and an 18 inch crash/ride.
