Today’s post features a Black Label snare in the popular Perfect Brown satin lacquer, but with a few custom touches that set it apart from the rest. A 1/4″ Pre-Aged Pearl inlay is beautifully centered in the middle of the shell and goes well with the cold rolled steel hoops and vintage style claws. The 8-Ply Maple VSS shell, Trick GS007 throw off, Puresound snare wires, and solid brass tube lugs are all standard features. A beautiful blend of modern construction and classic style, check it out:

The 13″x7″ has recently become one of our most popular sizes. The slightly smaller diameter with a little more depth makes for a great sounding blend of attack and depth. This one has the good looks to keep up with the sound, featuring a white sparkle wrap with black gloss inlays. Black hardware with 50% offset lugs are the perfect compliment for a smooth modern look. This 13″x6.5″ Dragon Snare prototype features 4mm thick cold-rolled steel hoops that go perfectly with the thick stave-construction shell. These hoops have a thick and solid rim-shot similar to die casts hoops, but without the dryness that often accompanies die cast hoops. The detail of the 360 degree carved shell is accented by the detail of the machined hoop clips, for an overall package that screams “I’m ready to rock your ears off”.
