Deluxe Cocktail Set in Burnt Toast Satin Lacquer

This classy Deluxe Cocktail Kit features a beautiful Burnt Toast satin lacquer fade.  Created entirely with our environmentally friendly water-based lacquers the satin sheen and pronounced grain make this one beautiful setup.  Features include the standard 10″x6″ snare, 10″x8″ tom, and 16″x24″ cocktail drum featuring our fully interchangeable mounting system.  The air brushing is done as a burst on the main drum, and a fade on the tom and snare, so when the kit is setup the finish matches across the drums.  Looks great, check it out:

Bubinga Stave Phattie with Abalone Inlays

One of the more unique builds I’ve completed recently, this stave-style Bubinga kit delivers equally in sonic and visual beauty.  Made from 100% Bubinga for a solid & pure tone, the toms are lathed to 3/8″ thick while the bass and snare drum are 1/2″ thick.  The finish features a Paua Abalone inlay accented by an airbrushed burst from the center of the abalone and the top and bottom of each shell.  Black hardware and stainless steel fasteners complete this setup.  You can see a step-by-step gallery of this build on our facebook page by clicking here.  Below are a few of the completed photos, check’em out:

Friday Flashback! Deep Blue Satin Burst over maple…

This Friday Flashback kit goes way back to late 2003, and is a set of Phattie Classic Series that featured a smooth deep blue-to-black burst.  The sizes were 8″x7″, 10″x8″, 12″x9″, and 14″x14″, with a beefy 24″x18″ bass.  All with chrome tear-drop lugs and Pearl BT3 style suspension mounts.  Great looking kit…if it happens to be your kit now, send in some action photos!

Burnt Sienna Phatties, with matching wood hoops…

This drop dead gorgeous kit features our popular Burnt Sienna burst with satin lacquer top coats.  The finish extends onto the Yamaha-style wood hoops for a smooth look, and really sets this kit apart from the off-the-shell alternatives.  The sizes are 12″x7″ rack tom with Chrome Optimount, 14″x12″ floor tom with legs, and a 22″x20″ bass with a custom Phattie logo on the head.  The heads are Remo Black Suede Ambassadors, the perfect compliment to the beautiful finish, check it out:

Friday Flashback!

Today’s kit is a blast from the past!  Built for the 2006 Hollywood Vintage & Custom drum show, this kit featured a high gloss polyester finish with a mirror-like surface.  The rack toms were 10″x8″ and 12″x9″, the floor toms were 16″x14″ and 18″x16″, the bass was a massive 24″x20″, and the snare was a 14″x6.5″.  All featured a beautiful green-to-natural fade, tear-drop style lugs, and a boat load of class.  Check it out:
