Today’s kit features a 12″x8″ rack tom, 15″x15″ floor tom, 20″x20″ bass drum, with a matching 14″x7″ snare. The finish is a deep Emerald Green satin lacquer that looks perfect against the black hardware. The snare features a Dunnett R-Class strainer and the bass has a custom Phattie Girl logo head. Here’s a custom job we just wrapped up for Zane with As Sick As Us, a local group that is making some waves. You can check them out tonight at the Boiler Room with Straight Line Stitch. Specs are 10×7 and 12×8 rack toms, 14×12 floor on a suspension cradle, 20×20 kick, and a massive 14×7 snare with 42-strand wires. The wood sections were stained inside and out, while leaving the bearing edges and joint overlaps natural maple. The contrast turned out great, check it out:
