This set of Phattie Drums dates from around early 2004. Featuring a beautiful Red Onyx finish over classic sizes, Slingerland lugs and a DW Rail Mount really complete the vintage vibe. The toms are 12″x8″, 14″x14″, and 16″x16″, with a matching 20″x14″ bass and 14″x6.5″ snare. It’s kits like this that eventually grew into the Black Label concept that we now offer. Check it out:

Many drummers dream of having a single kit that can be configured for any gig. Occasionally a drummer makes that dream come true! This beautiful Perfect Brown Satin kit includes wood hoop toms in 8″x8″, 10″x8″, 12″x9″, 14″x14″, 16″x16″, and 18″x16″ sizes. Steel hooped toms in 12″x9″, 16″x16″, and 18″x16″ sizes. Bass drums include two 24″x22″, a 22″x20″, a 22″x10″ woofer, and a conversion kit for the 18″ wood hooped tom to be used as a bass. Snares included a 14″x4″ 10-ply maple, 14″x6″ 15-ply maple, and a 14″x8″ 10-ply maple. This variety of sizes allows for dozens of unique configurations that cover any gig. From a small 3-piece bop kit to an arena rock setup, the configurations are nearly endless.
This kit featured chrome tube lugs, our Perfect Brown Satin Lacquer finish, and custom Fiberskyn logo heads with a Victorian-style shield logo. Not all drums are pictured below, but here’s a taste of the setup possibilities:

Today’s kit is a blast from the past! Built for the 2006 Hollywood Vintage & Custom drum show, this kit featured a high gloss polyester finish with a mirror-like surface. The rack toms were 10″x8″ and 12″x9″, the floor toms were 16″x14″ and 18″x16″, the bass was a massive 24″x20″, and the snare was a 14″x6.5″. All featured a beautiful green-to-natural fade, tear-drop style lugs, and a boat load of class. Check it out:

The same model currently on tour with the Eli Young Band and several other artists, the combination of 1.3mm brass shell, die cast hoops, and extra wide snare wires can’t be beat. Sounds great in any room, under any mic, and in any situation. Currently available as pictured for $349+shipping. A great workhorse snare with a sound usually found in snares twice the price:

This Phattie Custom Shop kit features great sizes for some serious rock. The rack tom is a 13″x9″ and the floor toms are 16″x14″ and 18″x16″, all 6-ply maple. The bass is a massive 26″x16″ 8-ply maple, and the snare is a 14″x6.5″. The Radio King style lugs are special order on Phatties, and look great against the red glass glitter finish.

This is a beautiful 14″x6.5″ Teak 1-ply snare. The shell was bent by Vaughncraft, one of the best companies for in the world for steam bent shells. The main wood is Teak, with Maple 1-ply steam bent reinforcement rings. Finished in a semi-gloss oil base urethane, hand rubbed to a perfectly smooth sheen, and complimented by reproduction Radio King lugs, classic single-flanged hoops and clips, and a modern Dunnett R-class swivel strainer. A workhorse that’s also a work of art:
