This unique set of Phattie Drums features a deep purple stain with a Kandy black burst topped in a high gloss lacquer. Under the beautiful clear coat is a 1/4″ silver leaf inlay that compliments the chrome hardware perfectly. The sizes include 10″x8″, 12″x9″, and 14″x10″ rack toms, 16″x14″ floor tom, 22″x18″ bass and a matching 14″x6.5″ snare. This kit features a unique blend of options, for a broad range of setups. The rack toms are 10″x7.5″, 12″x8″, and 14″x10″. The floor tom is a 16″x16″, and is paired with a matching 18″x18″ cocktail drum. Rounding out the setup is a 20″x18″ bass, a 10″x3.5″ timbale, and a 13″x3.5″ cocktail snare. The setup possibilities are endless! The matching 18″ cocktail drum can double as a 2nd floor tom, or can be used as a single floor tom with the 14″ rack for a big rock setup. This Friday Flashback dates from early 2003…geeze time flies! This kit included 8″, 10″, 12″, 14″, and 16″ hanging toms and a 22″ bass, all finished in a bright orange satin lacquer with black hardware. This was also one of the first kits that rocked our new Phattie logo in the bubble-badge that we used until switching to the chrome-plated badges. The matching orange Phattie logo on the bass was a nice touch, check it out:
This custom Phattie kit was built in old school Bonham sizes for that huge rock sound, and features a beautiful True Gold glass glitter wrap with Radio King style hardware.
