Today’s kit combines a beautiful birds eye maple veneer, deep golden amber stain, and a 1/2″ Paua Abalone inlay all buried under a high gloss lacquer. The sizes include 10″x7″ and 12″x7″ rack toms, a 14″x12″ floor tom, and 20″X14″ bass drum. Custom touches include DW brackets, a double tom holder mounted on the bass drum, and die cast hoops. As we count down the days until the 21st Annual Chicago Drum Show, here’s another little beauty that will be on display. It’s a copper/maple hybrid featuring a 12″x7″ maple shell under a layer of acid etched copper. The black hardware really brings the finish to life, and due to the organic nature of the finishing process it’s truly one-of-a-kind. Here’s another great example of our exclusive Puzzle Glass Glitter, this time combined with themed wooden badges and powder coated hardware that really compliments the overall vibe. Drum sizes include fast rack toms in 8″x6″, 10″x6.5″, and 12″x7″ with Alloy RIMS mounts; 14″x12″ and 16″x14″ floor toms with Alloy RIMS cradles; a thumping 24″x20″ bass and a 14″x8″ 30-Ply snare drum. The hardware is powder coated solid high-gloss blue and the badges are laser engraved and profile-cut to match the kit. This cool little 12″x7″ Phattie snare features our exclusive Puzzle Glass Glitter wrap under chrome full-length tube lugs and 2.3mm hoops. The shell is a thin 6-ply maple with Evans HD batter head and bronze snare wires. The result is a very articulate drum with a ton of pop, and very few overtones. Check out the raw ZoomQ3 sample to hear what the Phattie bearing edge is all about.
This unique set of Phattie drums features a puzzle finish made from sparkle drum wrap. The sizes on this kit are 10″x6″, 12″x7″, 16″x14″, 24″x20″, and a matching 13″x7″ snare. This is an exclusive finish to Phattie, and we’ve got another kit in the works right now that features different colors and is built from Glass Glitter, not sparkle, which has a different look to it with a lot more pop.
