Quick little demo of the Echo Mountain house kit…

Mike Rhodes took a little time from a current session down at Echo Mountain to demo the house Phattie kit. This sample was recorded on a Zoom Q3 with no additional mics or editing, just the raw sound off the camera. Sizes used are a 12″x10″ rack, 16″x14″ floor, 24″x18″ bass, and a 14″x7″ snare. This sweet Phattie kit features a 12″x10″ rack, 14″x12″ floor, and 20″x16″ bass, all finished in a custom painted Chocolate Brown Flat-Lacquer. This custom mix gives the drums a smooth look, and contrasts well with the chrome hardware. Check it out:

This kit features a deep black stain with a hand-rubbed top coat that gives a beautiful satin luster to the finish. The shells are thin maple, sizes are 12″x10″, 14″x14″, 16″x14″ and a beefy 24″x18″ kick with natural maple hoops. Tear drop lugs and chrome hardware complete the classy look, check it out:
