It can be a bit daunting to imagine a great finish combo, explain it through e-mail or phone and then wait to see if the final product is all you’ve dreamed of. This is a risk many a drummer has taken, only to end up with a kit that is just a little bit off, and isn’t quite what they had hoped for. Kit Preview is the ultimate tool to proof your purchase, and serves as the ultimate road map for the finishing of your new drums. Using advanced lighting and rendering techniques we provide a photo-realistic proof of your kit before the finishing process begins, allowing for changes and tweaks before the real colors hit the shell. Pricing is $75 for one initial rendering based on your concept, one set of changes, and one final proof. After that set of changes and a final proof, each additional set of changes and rendered proof is an additional $25.

This week has featured some exciting updates to our line of cocktail drums, found at CocktailDrumsets.com. The hi-hat and cymbal boom arms are now mounted using infinitely adjustable ratchet clamps, and a mini gig rug with Velcro-equipped pedal now come standard. One of the benefits to our new mounting system is the ability to position and use full-size cymbals, the setup below is pictured with 14 inch hats and an 18 inch crash/ride.
