This is a sweet setup we put together for Dave Irish last year, a killer drummer out of Austin. It’s a Phattie Hybrid Series with 8″x7″, 10″x7″, and 13″x8″ suspended toms, a 16″x16″ floor, and a thumping 22″x20″. The maple sections are finished in Blue Glass Glitter with Clear Acrylic Centers, Black Hardware, and a custom bass head with matching logo and “blue-chrome” Holz ring.
Jon from Cutting Through Clouds picked up his new set of Phatties over the weekend. This is a Custom Shop kit featuring a 13″x9″ rack, 16″x14″ floor, and massive 24″x20″ bass. This kit was built for Patrick Haynes while he was touring with Straight Line Stitch. This Phattie kit features 10″x6.5″, 12″x7″, and 16″x14″ hanging toms, a 22″x20″ bass and a 14″x5.5″ snare. The custom powder coated hardware was matched to the high-gloss white finish, and the blue RKH logos add a nice splash of color.
