Pre-Aged Marine Pearl on a killer 13″x7″ Phattie Snare

This Phattie snare features a Pre-Aged Marine Pearl finish, a beautiful finish that looks just a little creamier than White Marine Pearl, for a classy appearance. The 10-Ply maple shell combined with the deep 13″x7″ size sounds incredible when tuned up into the higher ranges. Very tight & articulate sound, but with plenty of body and oomph. A Trick strainer completes the package, as part of our push to use American made components whenever possible. Check it out:

Champagne Pink Sparkle 12″x6″ Phattie Snare

This 12″x6″ Phattie snare features a 10-ply maple shell and a retro-look combination of Champagne Pink Sparkle (or bermuda sand) with vintage style Radio King snare lugs. For function a Dunnett R-Class strainer keeps things moving. A beautiful snare, and a great size for accents and keeping under the hi-hat stand, dig it:

Along with the kit posted yesterday, here is another beautiful drum in the Burnt Sienna Satin Lacquer Burst with matching yamaha-style wood hoops. 13″x6″ 10-Ply shell, Dunnett R-Class strainer, and solid brass tube lugs combine for a sweet little snare. The yamaha-style wood hoops color matched to the drum gives it a smooth, vintage-like appearance, check it out:

A flashy new snare for the Eli Young Band…

The Eli Young Band is currently pounding the pavement on the Country Throwdown Tour, hitting cities all over the U.S. with a ton of incredibly talented artists. Click the image above for a list of dates and get yourself there if you’re a fan of rockin’ country music! Last week I had the opportunity to catch a show and deliver a new snare to Chris Thompson, drummer for the Eli Young Band. The snare is 14″x6.5″ clear acrylic with frosted EYB and Phattie logos, and a custom lighting system with remote control. This snare turns heads unlike anything else, watch the video below to get a full sampling of the different colors/fades/flashes/etc. that it is capable of. Very cool stuff, look for several full kits later this summer with similar systems we are currently engineering (or click here to check out one we recently did featuring low-profile LED Black Lights!) Black on Red Phattie Snare, 12″x7″ of deep attack!

Featuring a 10-ply Maple VSS shell, this snare had a great combination of body and attack. The 12″x7″ and 12″x8″ snares have been pretty popular lately, with their blend of small diameter and depth. Tuned up nice and high they provide quick articulation for fast playing, and a deeper sound than a traditional piccolo snare. This particular one features a red sparkle wrap with gloss black inlays, black-chrome hardware, and full-length tube lugs. Red and black, always a classy combo:

This Phattie snare features a 10-ply 12″x7″ shell wrapped in a Jet Black high-gloss wrap with Green Onyx inlays. Complimented by the Black Chrome hardware, this color combo looks great in person, the pictures don’t capture the true color contrast.

Phattie 12″x6″ with Custom Damask Wrap

This unique snare features a custom wrap exclusive to Stauffer Percussion. You may have seen this wrap on a kit we took to the Nashville Vintage & Custom drum show last year, it’s a show-stopper in person. This one is a 12″x6″ 10-ply maple shell with Black Chrome hardware, and is currently on tour with the Eli Young Band as a side/accent snare. We do have more of this available, although in limited quantities. If you’re in the market for a unique wrapped snare that looks like nothing else, drop us a line!
