A new set of Phatties on tour with the Eli Young Band graced Red Rocks this past weekend, check out these great IPhone pics from Chris! The rack tom is a 12, the floors are 16 and 18, and the bass is a 24. All feature inlayed wooden hoops and custom weathered nickel hardware. Sweet!
Chris Thompson of the Eli Young Band had his new setup delivered while on tour last night. Playing a gig just up the road in Tennessee, here’s a first peek at his amazing new setup. Specs as follows:
Phattie Custom Shop Kit featuring 6-Ply Maple toms, 8-ply maple bass drum.
12×9 rack, 16×16 and 18×16 floors, 24×16 bass
Wood hoops inlayed with a custom flecked maple banding
All hardware nickel-plated and then hand weathered/brushed
Custom laser-engraved wooden badges

Dave Irish will be rockin’ his amazing Phattie Hybrid setup, currently consisting of 8×7, 10×7, and 13×8 rack toms, 16×16 floor, and a 22×20 bass. Roxie is putting some mean beats down behind Civet, and opening for Social Distortion on their current tour. Her current kit features a Candy Apply Red custom paint job with black hardware, in a 10/12/16/22 configuration with matching snare.
