Drummer Danny Farrant is rockin’ a fresh set of Black Label drums on this tour, featuring a 12″ rack tom, 16″ floor, 22″ bass, and 14″x5″ snare in Silver Glass Glitter. Our good friend Chris Thompson of the Eli Young Band played the Houston Rodeo last month to a giant crowd on a rotating stage with a crazy light show while playing his Phatties. That one run-on sentence sums it all up, so lets get right to the photos and video:

The driving force behind Hank3, Scott Miller & the Commonwealth, and SweetTooth, Shawn started touring today with his new set of Black Label drums; Kicking it off with a benefit for Homes for Our Troops in Houston with Hank3.
Shawn’s new kit features a 13″x9″ rack tom, 16″x16″ floor, and 24″x14″ kick. Finished in True Black Glass Glitter and custom ordered with heavy duty bass spurs and 2.3mm hoops for a deeper, fatter tone. Great for some high powered rockabilly!
Jason Godek is the hard-hitting drummer behind Kill the Drama, out of Pennsylvania. Jason rocks a Phattie kit with a 13″x9″ rack tom, 16″x15″ and 18″x16″ floor toms, 24″x20″ bass drum, and a killer 14″x7″ snare.
