Chris Thompson (EYB) gets his new kit…

Chris Thompson of the Eli Young Band had his new setup delivered while on tour last night. Playing a gig just up the road in Tennessee, here’s a first peek at his amazing new setup. Specs as follows:

Phattie Custom Shop Kit featuring 6-Ply Maple toms, 8-ply maple bass drum.
12×9 rack, 16×16 and 18×16 floors, 24×16 bass
Wood hoops inlayed with a custom flecked maple banding
All hardware nickel-plated and then hand weathered/brushed
Custom laser-engraved wooden badges

Sneak peek of a sweet new cocktail drum…

Here’s a unique drum we recently built for our friend Murph. We provided a flat-black lacquered cocktail kit with traditional radio-king style hardware and had it shipped over to Igor of Igor’s Customs in Virginia Beach. Igor did the amazing pin striping job, and here’s a sneak peek at the final product. We’ll get some great live shots as soon as we can catch Murph playing this thing live. For now, here’s a peek:

Couple live shots of a Phattie Acrylic kit…

Here’s a unique kit we did several months ago for Tyler. The shells are clear acrylic with all white powder coated hardware, including teardrop lugs. 13″ rack tom, 16″ and 18″ floors, and a 20″ bass. Great looking setup, thanks for the pics Tyler!

Updates at CocktailDrumsets.com, new mounting/boom system…

This week has featured some exciting updates to our line of cocktail drums, found at CocktailDrumsets.com. The hi-hat and cymbal boom arms are now mounted using infinitely adjustable ratchet clamps, and a mini gig rug with Velcro-equipped pedal now come standard. One of the benefits to our new mounting system is the ability to position and use full-size cymbals, the setup below is pictured with 14 inch hats and an 18 inch crash/ride. Zenith Fuzzbomb, tomorrow night in Longview, TX…
